Cookies? Imagine expecting dark chocolate balls and getting cookies???!!!!!!!
On a related 'diner' note--an ex boyfriend of mine would always say not to eat the mints that they have in the little bowls by the register at diners. He was always citing some study that said that urine was found on those mints, allegedly from all the people who put their hands in the bowl after not washing. He would not even let me take a mint if it was from those containers that dispense one at a time, where there is no hand contact (so paranoid was he!). Now, normally I can be somewhat obsessive compulsive and germophobic. But I had a bad breakup with that guy and for the next several months, I totally went to town. Every time I saw the mint bowl I took a bunch. It was so liberating. Aaaaahhh, diner mints!!!!!!! Whoever I was with got the same line.......'Mike has a thing against these mints because of the pee, but I am going to have as many as I want now'!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, maybe this was a bad time for me to tell this story. I just made myself nauseous.

Maybe it was the rum balls that gave DH a horrible stomach virus for the past two days that kept him out of work and then he infected me - I had to leave work early today barely making it home.

DH should learn his lesson - do not eat dark chocolate balls in a diner. You dont know where they have been.
