Okay so I didnt want to give the basic favor but I wanted to give something different to my guest that they could keep for a long time (forever if they take care of it).
I wanted to give a bamboo stick in a small vase. Place a ribbon saying thank you and our names/date.
I am going to China Town to see if I can find the ones shaped like a heart made from the bamboo.
i cant really see the pic - but i know what you're talking about
i love the idea! and the bamboo sticks are really easy to take care of - so they can last a long time

i have one and have had it for years now. i love it. i think its a nice idea, and especially if it goes with your theme or style of wedding somehow.

I saw this done at a wedding and the favors doubled as centerpieces the way they did them. They looked really nice on the tables. I think they had put those rocks/glass stones in the vases that you see in floral arrangements to match the theme or color of their wedding. great idea!!
