I am using Laurie from LaBlossom. She is SO nice, and she is willing to work with whatever your budget is. I am not sure when to start looking, because I am only having a 10 month engagement, so I had to do everything ASAP. But I would assume its never too early to start looking since good vendors seem to book up so fast!
They are located in Huntington...just north of 25A.
Linden Florist in Lindenhurst...VERY reasonable! I got referred to them from a LIWeddings former bride, and her flowers were gorgeous!

im using flowers by rosemarie! she is out of her garage..in bohemia..she has done 3 weddings of people i know..everything came out great! she is sweet and cheap!! i went to 3 places and believe it or not she was $2000 cheaper than all of them!! love her!!

After searching and searching, I found Michael from Flower Barn in Seaford. He was recommended by a friend. His prices are so reasonable ($1000 less than the closest estimate) and he is truthful. He gave me alternative options that would last longer and look similar.

If you know what you want, can picture it in your head, I would go with Flowers by Burton. I knew exactly what I wanted, and they were able to give me the best price overall. I wouldn't suggest going there if you want to look through samples and get ideas. They have been in Business for years, and I was blown away by they work they did present to me, and the price. They are in Melville.
