Friends of ours who recently got married had a good suggestion, they said that you should try to do as many thank you cards before the actual wedding as you can because it's very overwhelming to try to do them all. They said that you pretty much know who's going to give you money and you should try to knock those out.

Re: A good tip- spinoff from T/Y cards
good idea. i guess you can do generic ones and save all the special people for after. I am getting mine from the photographer so that will not work for me.

that's a little impersonal to me. I know, I probabaly wouldn' tad anytihng special, but I'd feel weird thanking soembody for some thinthat didn't happen yet. Also, if you are gettign your cards fromteh photographer, you can't do that.
I would print out labels ahead of time though. and if you do happen to have the cards, address & stamp them if you have time.

I would assume that you could ask your photographer for the cards and then just put the photos in them later, that's what we're going to do. I know it's not very personal, but doing them after the wedding won't make them any more personal.
