I have this friend whose been with her boyfriend since we were in college, so for about 5-6 years. They live together in NJ and they talk about getting married all the time but wanted to save up money and wait till he graduated with some special degree (idk what for).

So he works at a law firm now and told her that there was a golf tournament that he had to go to in AC with the firm, and she was supposed to go too. He said the men were leaving really early and there would be a car service to pick her and all the other women up a little later and they would all meet up for brunch.

So shes at her apt all ready to go and goes outside, and its not a car service. Instead, theres a limo waiting and his friend is standing next to it and hands her her passport and a plane ticket to the BAHAMAS!! She texted me telling me about it and didn't konw for sure if it was definitely the engagement coming.. She went to the airport and got on the plane but apparently he was on a seperate flight. Well she landed a few hours ago and then she just sent word that shes engaged!!

I don't know the actual proposal story on the island yet, but I just thought that was such a coool surprise.. You think you're going to AC for the weekend, and instead you get flown to the Bahamas?!?!?! lol
