I'm not gonna say who with until I get some hardcore critique LOL thank u ladies.

It's been so hectic lately - FH wants to look at houses everyday now...but I gotta book someone for hair & flowers...LOL..what comes first?
A roof over my head - or the hair on my head?

I think I may book another trial with her and maybe a few others to flatten out what I want and who will do it. UPdos seems hard to nail..LOL

I do like it a lot but I like the way it looks better when your mom tweaked it. It definitely looked cleaner. But its a beautiful style!

It is a beautiufl style, but I agree - it is a little messy. Maybe it could be made a little more sleek or a little tighter and then it will look great!

i don't think a trial updo has to be perfect. the stylist is trying different styles out to give you an idea - if she did them all perfectly, you'd be there forever! having said that, though, if you liked the style but thought it could be a little cleaner (i agree with that, by the way), i would definitely address the issue with her. make sure that you won't see the bobby pins on the actual day, etc. and if you're not comfortable with that, i say go for another trial.

It looks beautiful. I agree it should be a bit 'neater' on the day of (i.e., not a lot of bobby pins showing), but it really is a gorgeous style. I'd love to see how the front looked!! Do you have any pics!?!? I'm struggling with hair at the moment....

I have to admit, I like that it is a little 'messy'. It has a more romantic feel.

I like it more 'messy' - it looks so much more natural and romantic. - But I am not a big fan of the fake curls and updo that don't move a millimeter all night......... -

i love the slightly messy look - very romantic and less of a hair-sprayed helmet that doesn't move - those scare me.

As long as it stays, that is the most important thing.

Personally, I love it! I like that it's loose, it doesn't look messy to me. I don't like too constricting hairdos....Can't wait for you to post who did it, b/c I want to go for a trial.

Also, is that all your hair or did she use some extensions?

I like the style of the updo but I agree that it looks messy esp toward the bottom...I think if she makes it look neat and tucks in the strays it will look beautiful!

I like to. At your trial, did they play around with it? If they did, maybe that is why it is messy. It's different and very soft. Your mom had little hairs pulled out, I like it all tucked, it's more formal. Have you seen work from them on brides for the actual day? That's important. Ask them for a portfolio of the brides they did on the wedding day. If they are messy, you have your answer Good luck with house hunting, your funny!

I think they did a great job...but it's a little too messy for my taste. I don't like the 'glued to your head look' but I would get the little fly aways on the bottom under control. When do we get to know who did the trial?
