I had the same problem there! My mom called so many times to find out about reserving a block for my September 15, 2001 wedding. They never returned phone calls and were unprofessional to my mom as well. We are so frustrated because there really aren't a lot of hotels in the area. I'm from the Three Village Area (where my mom lives, I live in NC now) and we had to book rooms at the Econo-Lodge in Smithtown as well as the Islandia Marriott. Where is the Sheraton Marriot?

where are you getting married? My wedding is at Flowerfield in St. James and we were able to reserve rooms at the Wyndham Windwatch with no problems (yet). they have been very helpful.

I am having the reception at Smithtown Landing. We actually were thinking about calling Windwatch too for rooms. I've stayed there before and my friend had her wedding there. It's very nice. We made blocked some rooms at the Islandia Marriott. So I think we'll try at the Windwatch too. THANKS!
Flowerfield is sooo pretty. It was out of my budget for the wedding, but it was my first choice! It's right down the street from the church we are having our ceremony at too, St. James Lutheran on Woodlawn Avenue.

We are going to the Canary Islands. Didn't know much about them and wasn't planning to go there, but my father has a time share that he wasn't using this year and we got to pick somewhere exotic to go. Hope it will be fun.

I went to the Canary Islands about 5 years ago. Very popular European destination. Which islands are you going to? I was at Tenerife and Lanzarote. We are going to Venice for 4 days and then on a cruise from Athens to Istanbul through the Greek Islands. Can't wait!!
