a huge hair mistake I need to vent

I am so pi$$ed off!! I made the mistake of going to someone for a haircut I never been to before. I showed her 4 different pics of people with side swiped bangs plus 2 other pics of the haircut I wanted that really wasnt much different than the one I already have except for a trim and some cutting around my bangs. So I tell that after she blowdries my hair I want her to iron it with her iron b/c my hair is naturally curly. While my appiontment started at 12pm I didn't get out of there until 3:15. After my highlights were done and my hair was washed I had to wait so long for my hair to be cut that most of my hair tried in the process. So as she was cutting she decides to cut it so it is angled around my face (like the jenniffer aniston look 7 years ago) she angled it, that look is so dated. I told her no layers or angles, I said I wanted a stright cut that was a trim. So it looked like a big poof of all thsi body when she was done blowdrying it, I was furious, I didn't say anything I know I should have. Then when I got home I noticed that the left side of my bangs was an inch shorter than the right side they were CROOKED. I really don't think side swept bangs are supposed to be cut crooked, does anyone know? So my highlights came out nice but my haircut is a disaster, I have to walk around with a dated haircut for 2-3 months until it is time to get another one, next time I will be going to Arson, he is in the city and he is excellent w/ cuts, I should have waited and booked w/ him. I just needed to vent. Also when I went there last week for a price quote, fpr a haircut and parcial hightlight, she qouted me $90 with blowdry included, she charged me $120 today. I waas not happy

Uggg, I have been there! I tried someone new last time and she cut my bangs so that I resemebled a 7 year old. The rest of it was fine, just the crappy bang thing.

I hope your hair grows fast enough that you can at least get your bangs straightened out soon - it took about 2-3 weeks for mine to look more normal.






ETA...I do think swept bangs could be cut on an angle but an inch difference sounds like a bit much. And they probably charged you more b/c it was the owner.

Did they know you were upset? They would probably offer to fix it for you.
