I have not got a chance to post about this yet but basically when I ordered my gown Davids said it would take 12 weeks to come in at which time I can start the altering process yada.. 3 weeks later the dress is in and they wanted me to come take it home by Tomorrow.. The earliest i can book alterations is December.. Now I have to find a place to hold it forever.. If I knew it was going to come so quick I would not have even ordered it yet!!! Oh and they wanted me to pay 5 bucks to ship it to me because I could not get there before next Monday.. I finally called back and was like look I am away (white lie not away yet) and I can't get in until Monday I was told my dress would take 12 weeks to deliver not three, if I had known 3 I would have made arrangements.. They finally chnged their tune and holding it til Monday but COME ON.. Why rush us to order a dress if it is only going to take a few weeks!!

They told me I couldn't alter mine til December either. I told them to F-themselves, they got angry and said 'fine whatever!' and let me alter it when I wanted to.

I got my bridesmaids dresses from them, they came in a few days ago and in the email they said I had 12 days to pick them up. Maybe they can do that for you, its so strange that they said that for one person and not the other. Good luck!

I had heard this about David's too. They told me it will take 3 months, but I am ready for them to call in 3 weeks. My mom is going to hold the dress for me until it can be altered. I have no room for the dress in my house, plus we have a large dog and curious kitty that would love to get their paws all over it. Lol. I totally understand your frustration though, that's so annoying!
