A little annoyed at my bridal shop

I called to check on the status of my dress.

Now mind you, I called before & they told me it would be there in a few more weeks.

When I call now the girl says oh it will be mailed in December. When I tell her that no, someone said it was already on its way, she pauses & goes ohhhh yeahhh I mean the veil is being sent in December.

She says oh a postcard will be mailed 2 month before the wedding to say the dress will be in. When I bought the dress, they said they would let me know immediately when it came in!



Now, when I ask to see my dress, they go they can't show the dress on the weekend. They say they only can take the dress out on the weekend & that they have it in storage & would have to pay extra for that. Oh yeah & they can only take the dress out once.

I am super pissed now. I want my mom there to be the one to see my dress the first time. Not by myself during the week.

Now I usually do not get pissed about lil things but this urks me. I feel like calling now to rant.

i haven't had that experience 'yet' but i just wanted to say that if i were you i'd be super annoyed too.
that's just a stupid policy if you ask me. i'm sure there are 'good' reasons for it... but i don't care. lol i want to be able to go try on my dress whenever the heck i want!

update.

I called back & talked to another girl. I remained calm but told her I was troubled. She said she would leave a message for the manager to see what they can do.

This whole thing sounds weird. I don't like it.

Though the second lady was nice. hopefully it can be worked out but it is something to ask before you buy. I wish someone had warned me to even think of that.
