A little birdie told me

That they are extending the tax credit for first time home buyers (this also includes condo's and co-ops). They are also up'ing it from 8k-15k.

I'm not 10000% def but i heard from an accurate source.

that would be such a great thing.,...we are stressing about finding a house but i dont want to rush to it either.

yeah, for the 8k one if you fell in a certain tax bracket you weren't eligible for this credit. I'm sure the same will be true with the new one.

Rumored that the new one goes into effect Dec 1st 09'-Nov 31st 10'

Yes, there is. It made me so mad. I didnt qualify for any of it (and I certainly could use it!)

I work in finance and rumor is it will be extended. Haven't heard anything about an increase though. And yes there is a income cap.....$75k for single and $150 for married

ETA: FYI - The income cap is for adjusted gross income
