I know this is selfish of me in light of the current state of affairs in the world. But, my husband and I planned this great 3 week trip to Spain in the end of April-early May, which we are canceling. I am so disappointed.
There lots of nice places to do that are within driving distance. In fact I think we just had a thread on this recently.

We heard today that there are riots there and the anti-American sentiment is on the rise. If we cancel now, we will only lose our insurance payment. We are planning to do something else, like the Carribean, which is nice. But, we put a lot of planning into this and I really wanted to go. Oh well, maybe next year.
If you want try Costa Rica-- It is beautiful this time of year and it is safe!!!
