I had my make-up trial on Tuesday; the girl changed my lipstick a few times and when I left I was very happy with my make-up. The only thing was when I got home I noticed my face looked shiny. You couldn't tell at the place because the lighting was low. However, that was the only issue I had, overall I liked it, I just usually don't wear a lot of make-up. My FH didn't like it; he said it was too much make-up, and his brother said it made me look pale. I don't know what to do now and I am so confused. Just had to vent.

thats why i love to take before and afters, ... you could always try a trial at another place if you feeel that way

You're right butterfly; I actually did take pictures but I have not gotten them developed yet. But I figure if other people didn't love it (especially FH) then there's my answer.

Thank God for trials! Can you find another makeup artist? I booked mine about 6 weeks before my wedding, after seeing a couple of makeup artists.

I can go other places; I actually signed the contract but I can still get out of it. I just feel bad. I told her that I really liked it (I did). But I guess I can just go for another trial at the same place.

Call the girl who did your makeup and express your concerns...I think there may be something that can be done.
