A little embarrassed to say this but....

It's 9 months till the wedding, and it's also that time of the month!

I know pregnancies arent always the full 9, but looks like FH and I will be able to make it to our wedding date w/out any children first! (or being due on our wedding date)

I don't mean to offend anyone with kids, but it's just something I've been thinking about. FH and I are young and want to wait a while before having kids.

You are lucky you are in a situation where you can wait

Ah to be young. I think we're just not going to have any. I can't deal with pain or c-sections or having to take care of a kid by myself, I don't think FH is a dad type.

Sometimes I think it would be nice to have kids 'soon' but we are young and I'm still finishing up law school. Ideally I'd like to be able to work a little while first before becoming preg bc I don't know how it will affect my new job. I think FH has 'baby fever' -- he oohs and aahs over every baby we see but your whole life changes once you have kids and I'm just not ready for that yet. Maybe in 5 years. We're having fun with our kittens though

I agree with you. Actually it was funny, b/c I wanted to talk with FH about what point in time he wants to start trying for kids. His response was 'as soon as we get back' (meaning back from the honeymoon). I told him I wasn't sure who he'd be having those kids with, but that I want to at least celebrate our 1 yr anniversary just being husband and wife instead of mom and dad too.

haha, you think you are the only one who's worried about this??

we are past the 9 month mark, but still worry every month, cuz if i got knocked up right now, I'll be 6 months preggo at my wedding, and it'll definitely show!

What REALLY freaked me out, is AT the 9 month mark, i didn't get my . that month at all!!!! probably cuz i was so bugged out about it.

i was definitely thinking this too but was too embarrassed to post it.... i really need to make it through the next few months LOL

I think you are smart to know what works best for you and FH. Once you get into a good situation with work, you'll have the matern. leave and they'll know you well and throw you a fun shower or give you a nice gift certificate. Ha ha! Just kidding

When I thought I'd have kids, I always thought it'd be cool to have them young, but if you don't have the guy to make the baby, you're kinda stuck. Oops!

Enjoy each other and your kitties and be young and spontaneous before the babies get here

... I got mine just yesterday and was like phewwww I won't have to worry about squeezing into a dress, because FH always teases me that we should have one beforehand lol
