FH and I are going to come into a little extra money -- which is a good thing obviously. I'm tempted to pretend it doesn't exist and continue with my skinny budget as planned but I'm equally tempted to pump some more into the wedding.... the question is where should I put it?
FH and I already decided that we are beefing up the HM budget just a bit and that's one thing I definitely feel is worth it. But we could also put some more $$$ into other things like the stupid centerpieces I'm in love with but are blowing my flower budget... or some extra bells and whistles with the DJ... or the wedding rings (another area I kinda skimped on)....or musicians for the cocktail hour...
What's more worth it? I could spread it out, but then it really wouldn't be much...I know this mostly a matter of personal opinion, but I'd like to hear what you brides (and grooms!) would do with a little extra unexpected cash... or would you just save it for later? We already own our home by the way.... so -- and this is bad, I know --- I kinda feel like it's okay for us to blow it all!

Re: A little extra cash -- what would you do?
At first I was going to say SAVE SAVE SAVE because our biggest issue with blowing money on the wedding is.... what do we do after??
But, since you have a house already I'd say definitely beef up the wedding rings. Can you spend some of it on the centerpieces and still have $$ left over?
Hope that helps! I'm no expert!

I have to agree with this one. Get some pretty, sparkly diamonds you can wear everyday.

i would splurge on the rings as well. i had a fancy d.j package with the intelligent lights and all that crap and most people dont even notice but rings will last a life time and you will feel so good everytime you look at it.

absolutely wedding rings if you skimped on them. You'll have them FOREVER, unlike centerpieces.

I agree with everyone who said rings. You will have them forever. Photography is another thing I wouldn't skimp on.
