I need some advice. Where are some places that I can look for reasonably priced bridal and bridesmaid gowns?

This! if you have time you can watch the dress online until the price drops (that means its being discontinued) thats how I got a $899 gown for $550!

Hmm I think it depends what you mean by decently priced? I thought every store that I went to had at least a few decently priced dresses. I went to Village Bridal, Fantasia, Lillettes, Bridal Suite of Centereach, Bridal Suite of Bayshore, Kleinfelds (had a few within budget!), Charmet Boutique (decent prices but I would NEVER recommend that anyone order from there...), and Bridal Reflections in Massapequa.

Re: A little help here
I mean I'm surprising my family for the holidays so I'll only be home for 10 days when I fly in from California. I HAVE to find a gown by then because the next time I'll be in NY is in June and with the wedding in August there's no way that could happen. I'm trying to narrow down the list of stores so that I'm not running around the whole time looking for a dress rather than spending family time. So I guess I'm trying to narrow it down not just by price but by customer service and how well they work with you.

Re: A little help here
Check out Villiage Bridal in Babylon. I tried on some gorgeous dresses that came in way under budget for me. I was shocked! They girls there dont work on commission either (i dont think) and are soooo nice and not pushy at all. HTH good luck!

wedding center in commack, its a bit overwhelming but if they have the dress you like, they guarantee the lowest price. just be sure to keep up with them as far as when the dresses come in
