A little introduction

Ok, so know that I have learned how to post, there is no stopping me! I wanted to introduce myself to you all and tell you a little more about our story.

My Fiancee and I met in St Maarten. We were both on separate trips (he was with his best friend and family who he traveled with regularly and I was on a trip with my closest girlfriends). We were both on a timeshare an on the island for the exact same week.

Our groups ended up meeting in the pool on our first day and we hit it off being that we were both from NY. We decided to meet up later that night and hit up the town. We ended up hanging out with them the whole time we were there and had a blast. When my Fiancee told me he wanted to see me back in NY I was skeptical. I thought paradise and my bikini got the best of him.

I asked my girlfriends if I should considered dating him back in the US and they said I would be foolish not to give it a shot. We were on separate flights from St Maarten to NY. We ended up missing our connection and had to spend a night in North Carolina. Stuck in the cheap airport hotel and completely bored, I thought about whether or not I should call him. When I turned my phone on, I had a text from him saying: 'Ahhhh, there is nothing like the smell of NY'. We went on a date the next evening and he showed up with roses. We have been together ever since and on May 15th he proposed!!!

I love him so much and seriously think I am one of the luckiest girls around.
