A little nervous-- sorry long!

My cousin's partner Brian had blockages in his heart- 80% in one valve or whatever they call it and 100% in another- they put a stint in last night.

My aunt was at the hospital last night with my cousin & Brian- they live in Florida-- and the doctor cleared them to come to New York for the wedding.

But its making me nervous, I called my cousin and told him that they should in no way come- but he said that they wouldnt miss it for anything-- he said if Brian is not up to it, he will stay at his mom's & my cousin will still be there.

While I am beyond touched that they are doing this for me, I am just so nervous that something will happen- can you please keep Brian in your prayers?

Will certainly keep him in my prayers!!! That is so sweet, it obviously means so much to them to be there. I'm sure he will stay home if he is not up for it due to his health.


PS - My Mom has had stints put in and was feeling better in a couple of days! I'm sure he will be okay

Thanks- that makes me feel better- he's only 38- so the doctor actually said he can go to work tomorrow which just seems nuts! but he's like that lol

Im so sorry..keeping him in my prayers

I wouldn't be too nervous because modern medicine is wonderful. My husband had quadruple by-pass surgery in April (he had 4 blocked arteries 1 or 2 completely and the other 2 more then half - he was on his way to a major heart attack) but now just about 6 months after his surgery he is doing everything he did before and he has a physical job. He was riding his bike for exercise about 7 weeks after the surgery. So don't worry your cousin's partner will be fine.

I will definitely say a prayer to help it along.

i think it's beyond sweet how they want to make it for the wedding. I'm sure he'll do what's best for his heatlh.

09 crashing. and sending prayers....my father has had more stints than I like to even think about. He is always fine within a day or two. And actually feels better than before because now the blood can freely flow through the heart. I wouldn't stress, Im sure it will be fine.
