a little sad....a little happy

I started to clean out my apartment.....it's making me sad....then happy...then sad...etc....

It's hard to 'throw out' old memories....and at the same time it AMAZES me what I've saved. Like my cap & gown from graduating College....WHY did I save that...it's a black gown & a black cap...it doesn't even say my school name on it....what am I gonna do dance around in it in my new house?? seriously??

But then at the same time....I've been so independent since graduating tha the thought of moving back home for a bit and then moving into OUR house, is very overwhelming!

Between moving out....then moving back home...then moving into our new HOUSE.....and then getting married, I'm gonna have a nervous breakdown lol

It's like HELLO......time to start a brand new chapter in your life....and all at once!!

Just did this in March, I am still upset, but got to live life!!!!

I made the move from my own apartment to the house with my fiance in June. I still miss my own place, but at the same time I love being with him all the time now. It's sort of bittersweet. But you are right, one chapter of life ends and the next begins

AWWWWWW Don't be sad. It's just adding a new chapter to your life. Soon enough you'll be decorating the new house, gardening, getting new pets-that's what I''m excited about-I can't wait to live with FH and I've lived at home for 23 years.

oh you're welcome. just enjoy this time. what I did was take a bunch of pics of my apartment before I left to have the memories. sounds silly but I wanted to have that.

Moving always has those emothions, things you haven't seen or thought about in years. It is nice when it's all for a wonderful event in life

I just did some of that last fall & I have to do more...
