That is really strange. My coworker is dating somebody and, when she refers to him she calls him her husband. She calls his daughter her stepdaughter. She says it's a sure thing that they'll eventually get married so that's why she calls them that. Strange.

That's exactly how I feel. I also think it's pretentious and a little presumptuous. Yes, there's a possibility that you might marry this man, but there's no ring on your finger yet. I really hate when she calls his mom her mother-in-law. 'Oh, Bonnie, my mother-in-law gave me a great recipe last night...' And I'm thinking, you mean your boyfriend's mother?

the 'wife' thing started way before we were actually engaged and it still kinda bothers me but oh well......... things are ok here just freezzzzzzinggggggg and snowing yet again
gotta love the frozen north that is buffalo
i think when we come down for christmas we aren't coming back

it is weird. i hate when ppl call there boyfriend their husband. someone i work with does this too. i don't even call FH my husband and he will be in 47 days. i still say fiance. i don't think i could call him my husband before then. i feel like it does lose a little bit.

p.s.- i think you more ready then you know, why would you be around all these if you weren't ....you never know
