A long goodbye
I'm not sure how often I'll be on between now and Saturday so I want to say my goodbye's now. I stumbled upon this site the night I got engaged by googling something like, 'Long Island Wedding Venues'. Many of you knew me as 'Future Pepper' for a while. I got engaged shortly after having foot surgery. Being couch ridden, I spent MANY hours on LIW and quickly became addicted.
There aren't enough words to thank you girls for how much you've been there for me, lent an ear, offered support and advice, shared laughs, spent late nights talking about centerpieces, bridesmaids dresses, and everything wedding and non-wedding related under the sun. For the past year and five months, LIW has been my online home and you girls have been my internet family. I met many of you the 09 shower and a few at some GTGs, but I feel like I've know you all for a life time. It was truly an honor to spend such a special time in my life with the amazing 09 girls. I have so many lasting memories from this site. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING GIRLS! (And a great big thank you to Ron, Liz, and Kim for all of your hard work and for providing such an incredible community for LI brides.)
I got in from PA yesterday and everything is DONE! Now I'm just enjoying the last days before the wedding. The rehearsal dinner is tomorrow night and the wedding is on Saturday at 11:30am. I can't believe it's almost here! I'll definitely post a ton of pics when we're back from Aruba and I promise to post a review.
