A marriage license question you HAVEN'T heard a milllion times.

For the box where it says:

'Surname after marriage'

You are supposed to either put your current name (for keeping your maiden name) or FH's last name (if you're changing it to his) or Current name-FH's name if you're gonna hypenate it.

... but what would happen if I filled it out and put like...

'Dinosaur-Smith'

when 'Dinosaur' is neither mine or FH's last names?

thats a great question, I asked FH the same question when we went...

it reminds me of the Friends episode where Pheobe changes her name to Princess Consuella Banana Hammock

haha good question

i am not sure if they would approve it. When you fill out the application it lists the options you have for changing your name. they might not give u the license if it isnt one of those options. not sure though.
