A need to vent (re: fg dress)(sorry)
As some of you know, my FI family has shown no interest in this wedding. Anyway, I told his sister (the mother of the fg) that I dont care what dress she gets for the fg (3yo) but I want an ivory dress with a pink sash. You would of thought I asked her to pay for wedding for us. This has been such an issue; it shouldnt be ivory, it should be the same dress as the Jr Bm (10yo - future stepdaughter), etc. Well yesterday she sends my FI over with a pink crystal to ask if this is the pink I want. Forget the fact I have shown her pics and my tiara. So I called her and told her that she can call me anytime about this and to leave my FI out of it since he doesnt care about this dress at all. So she tell me that she found a very pretty a-line dress to go with the MOH and BM dress and in her opinion it would match better than a puffy dress. I couldnt hold it in anymore, I told her that since my MOH is 33, the BM is 10 and the FG is 3 it really doesnt have to be the exact dress and that it is my wedding and I have already told her that she can get whatever she wants as long as it is the colors I requested. I am so proud of myself for not getting into it with her, that's what she wants and I wont do it.
