We took him to ToysRUS and daddy bought him a cool new bike that he can grow into in the next few months Its 3-'growing'steps.. The bottom rocks for indoors, then it can be pushed like a stroller, and then he can ride it on his own.
AND daddy bought him a new pet Betta Fish. So far he had no name, but I guess the color reminded John Anthony of BLues Clues because as soon as he looked at him, he said 'BOOZSH' exactly like when he calls Blues Clues

A fish is a good pet to start with as you work your way up to a PUPPY!

Paul has the SAME EXACT BIKE! Now they can be twins and ride around the neighborhood together!
Sounds like JA had a FABULOUS (last - hint, hint) weekend as an only child! How cute is he - calling the little fish 'blue's clues'???? SO ADORABLE!

Karen-thats what we liked about this bike. Although he cant reach the pedals yet, it has a footrest for his feet until then. He doesnt use it anyway, he keeps his feet/legs 'in standing position' as he rocks it (And BOY does he ROCK IT I think he's gonna flip on it soon! It travels/slides on the carpet because he rocks it SO hard
We hoped that when we brought out the swing for the baby, he'd just want his bike, but I know him better than that.. he'll tear down that swing in no time...
Jenn, thats exactly what I was thinking, but it will be a LONG way to a puppy. I insist on totally having the whole house in order (all home projects DONE-is that possible?), and every child assigned chores (Are you picturing me with half a dozen kids now? ), THEN we can have a dog (am I over-reacting ) So we're talkin quite a few more years... We still have time for more fish, a few other water animals, maybe a hamster or two... but I hate when pets start to stink up the house! (am I cruel?) can you tell I didnt grow up with pets? Maybe a goldfish or two...
Claud-how cool that Paul has the same bike!! *YAY* jumpin up and down* We MUST take them riding this summer!! There are a few tracks around here. we got one of those siamese fighting fish for the office - we named it Jon (after Jon Bon Jovi ) and wouldnt' ya know the thing lived for THREE YEARS!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah!!! What a cool bike John Anthony has!!! What a big boy he is now!!!
As for his fish, I bought my nephew the same fish last year for Christmas -- he named him Gordon -- and he's still alive and kicking, even after getting caught in the filter and almost decapitating himself!!!
