a nightmare!
Well, today has been a nightmare.. My wedding is 7 days and 17 hours away and all of Fi's British family and friends are stuck.
Three of his friends went to newark today from birmingham international. Their flight landed in time but then spent 6 hours by their luggage because their was a suspective luggage and they had to have a controlled explosion to destroy it.
his other two friends finally gotohere from heathrow (after having a looooong delay) but our firend someyeh has been in a holding place for a couple of hours. thisiis her first trip to new york!!! Her Fiance has gone through immigration and now just waits for her.
Poor FI left here to meet his friend in Newark at 11 and they landed at 1;40 and they didn't come out until about 7pm. He said people were coming about about one or 2 peoplelper half hour. It's crazy11
hopefully everyone else from Britian gets here safely. Although this is probably the safest time to travel!!
FI is now staying in the city with his three friends and wait for Sommy to get out of holding at the hotel
