A note in invitations

A note in invitations

My mom thinks that I should include a little note in the invitations saying that I have enclosed direction cards for the Hotel where we have blocked rooms for the wedding. Please mention Name/Name wedding when reserving to get the discounted rate. I still need to figure out the wording, but my question is, what can I print them on that would look nice?

I had direction cards (for church) and the hotel cards (from Hotel with rate and other info) copied at Kinkos and put on nice light paper. Rember the more you put in your invitation the heavier it will be = more postage!!

I had a whole bunch of stuff printed on the same paper as the invites.. I had the direction cards, written directions to both the hall and church, accommodations card, parking card and for close family a within the ribbon card..

Buy some translucent paper from E-bay. (I bought 100 pieces for $1.00!!!) They have all types, all colors, & all textures!

If you have a really good laser printer at home..if not, do it @ work....and then if that can't work, definately go to Kinko's for high quality.

Use a MS business card template for a pretty good size.

Hope this helps!

I wrote all that on my homemade hotel direction cards and printed it out on nice ivory stock that matched the color of my invites. Many people thought the hotel gave them to me. I was happy with them.

check with the hotel you've booked. ours gave us a stack of cards with that information on it, and we put them in our invites.

The hotel gave us cards too, as did our reception hall. The church had given us some, but I didn't like the look so I had FH redesign them. Then we copied them at kinko's (who also cut them, as FH put the guide marks on the paper).

We went to a local printer and had cards printed up from text that we gave them. I want to say it was $20 to have them printed on a card stock, double sided and trimmed.
