Anyone here of this? It is an ultrasound place in NYC that gives you the look into the uterus with 3d/4d vision. So cool! Surprisingly, it is not all that expensive. Anyone do this? I know for myself, it is much to early... but very cool for later on...

sounds cool , gonna look at the website. $500 seems like a lot, but if Im going nuts I may. Because Im high risk, I know I will be able to get lots of sono's, one of the plus's ( I had 45 sonos with my first PG!) one everyday for a two week period once...But theres nothing like the 3D.....

I had a 4D sonogram at my Level II at the hospital and it is really cool. However, if I were you, I may do some research on businesses like this. Are these technicians trained medical professionals? What if something were wrong with the baby, would you want this person telling you? Would they even be able to spot/diagnose any problems? Would they create any where none exist? Be careful!

My doctors office does 3D at my 'big' ultrasound and its not extra charge. I don't think I would pay to have it done.
Be sure to research where you go, there is a lot of controversey over the safety of all the commerical ultrasound places.

My friend went to a place like this...but it was in MAss...
THey detected that her baby had lost her heartbeat...but because they are not the doctor, thety could not tell her. When she got home, she had a call from her doctor to tell her to come to L&D right away....these techs were trained technicians, but did not have the authority to give info like that out.
