for my grandma.....it's hard to see, but each color has a pattern in it....

yes...the fabrics (5 of them) get cut into strips and sewn together...then they get cut into 4 1/2' squares in which the pattern starts to form.....

oh...I mean did you stitch a pattern? like squiggly lines? I have tried to stitch, but my thread always bunched up (even though I use the beeswax)

grandma is going to love it!!!!

Erica....just a simple straight stitch...nothing fancy...I'm not ready for it!! It's a simple pattern that can be done in one day. Each fabric was a patterned fabric....the pattern calls for light, medium, or dark....like the khaki color has a toile pattern in a dark purple
