A poem for my Bridesmaids

Hi Girls,
I wanted to share this with you all and get any feedback that you may have. I wrote a little poem that I am going to send to the girls I'm asking to be my bridesmaids...let me know what you think...

and by the way, if Shannon 326 is reading this, look no further (she's one of my bridesmaids ) So much for the surprise of a poem right?



James popped the question
And I said yes
Now on to the planning
From the flowers to the dress
The date has been set
And the hall has been booked
Our love for one another
Is all it really took

True we have some time
Before our wedding day is here
But never too early to remind you friend
As to why you are dear
And because you are so special to the bride and groom to be
There is nothing more that we would want then for you to share in all our glee

So with this much said and not a moment left to waste
This bride has one question for you
Will you stand beside my place?

And while there are so many things still left for us to choose
Like colors, favors, a resort or a cruise
There is this one decision that can not be swayed
And that is how honored I would be to have you as a Bridesmaid

Thanks Girls I wanted to do something special for the girls so one day during my lunch break, I sat in a park and wrote it. I bought pretty stationary and I am going to print it out (my handwriting is terrible) and send it to each one of the girls (even the ones I did ask already) in my bridal party.
