Elizabeth said that the Snap N Go is on her Top 5 Must Have List, which led me to wonder what the rest her 'must have' list was like.

SO ~ What are your top 5 Must Have's? I really think your lists will benefit those of us who are getting ready to join you.

Hmmm Id say, in no specific order

Snap n Go
BottleWarmer
Exersaucer
Swing
Binky (in my case!)

oh sleep would be my top 500... but since that cant be bought in any store or through the mail or on tv

my top 5 would be

Bouncy seat
umbrella stroller
infant carrier
breast pads
tiny love mobile

only 6 weeks of experience but:

snap n go
infant car seat/carrier
swing
4 stage bath tub
changing table/dresser combo

here are my 5 in no particular order:

SWING!!!
baby einstein tapes/dvd
chicco deluxe LX stroller
car seat- Britax roundabout
medela pump n go breastpump...

one more- baby monitor- angelcare- great for SIDS

Here are my top five (i'm not including the essentials like the car seat and breast pump):
1) Kolcraft Universal
2) Burp cloths
3) Mirror for car so I can see my baby
4) Lots of music CDs and Baby Einstein DVDs
5) Mobile-he loves the one we have:Symphony in Motion-Zoo

Misha, I registered for the same mobile. Glad to hear that you and your baby love it!

After I registered, I read how good the Symphony in Motion mobile was. So, my first trip to the store with returns will be to return the one I picked and get this one instead!

Been There Done That

I also registered for the Baby Eisenstein DVD and I want the books!!! I love them.

Only 10 weeks experience, but here goes -

1) Fisher Price Kick & Play vibrating seat
2) cloth diapers - use them for EVERYTHING (except as diapers!)
3) binkies - I love the Nuk brand
4) sleepers - I don't think you can have enough of these...
5) Baby in Sight mirror and Mighty Tite for car

I cannot say enough about the vibrating seat - this is a LIFESAVER!! We have 2. Ryan has loved it since the day he came home from the hospital. Now that he can interact with the toy bar it's even better...

...and I'm with anyone who asks for more sleep!!

I don't have much to add, since most of mine were already covered - I just want to underscore the 'snap-n-go' and the infant carrier. Two things that make the first few months sooo much easier.

Also, at least a dozen receiving blankies - you will go through so many of them in the early weeks.

What exactly is a snap and go?

We plan on TTC early next year and I don't understand all this stuff. Is it a stroller? How does it differ from a travel system. I went to babies r us to try to figure it out and I got more confused. How will I know what to get when its my time??

Any suggestions, advice?
