My sister's friend got married not too long ago and she just showed me a website that shows a few of the pics. I thought they were so cool looking!

I'm just confused about something...it says the Ramones played...but 3 of the founding members of the Ramones are dead. Was this awhile ago?

Maybe they had a DJ and they played stuff by the Ramones? (which is, I guess, uncommon at weddings... just wait to see what I play at mine!) That's what i took it to mean because the wedding was maybe a month ago!

Maybe they had a DJ and they played stuff by the Ramones? (which is, I guess, uncommon at weddings... just wait to see what I play at mine!) That's what i took it to mean because the wedding was maybe a month ago!

That's what I'm thinking too. Maybe they had a Ramones cover band! Woo!
I'm working VERY hard to incorporate Pearl Jam (naturally) into the wedding music, as well as the Ramones...since FH and I are both Queens folks we gotta represent! (And the Ramones are up there on 'best band in the world' list for me!)

I love the website that all the photos are from...great, another wedding website to distract me from work!

I think you can definitely get some good Pearl Jam songs into the mix at your wedding. You could walk in to 'Do the Evolution!' It's so funny about that song actually, I remember when Krock premiered it and they played it 10 times in a row! I think the DJ then was Cane, he was awesome for that.

I am going to have the smashing pumpkins (perfect), Beck (jackass without the donkey sounds at the end), Foo fighters (a few songs, prob next year, big me and a few others) and stp (big empty). FH's family is going to be like, 'ummm what's going on here??'

I went to the same HS as the Ramones... about 20 years later, but! LOL... and I live in Rock, Rock, Rock, Rockaway Beach!

We're not only going to have a good rock mix, but we're also going to have country (for my mom and dad) and Indian (for his side of the family). Ay dios mio.

For sh!ts and giggles, we want to play 'Girlfriend in a Coma' (The Smiths) and see who catches on to it.

LoL Forest Hills High! I'd say REPRESENT but I didn't go there. But I live in Forest Hills!

I used to see Joey all the time when I was a teenager going to shows...Coney Island High, CB's, the Continental...good times.
