A Quest for Cute Shoes...UPDATE!!! The Quest is Over!!

About 2 months ago I bought this super cute cream skirt with thin brown checks and kick pleats. It was on sale and I luuuurved it. Unfortunately, I have no shoes to wear with it. So I get to buy cute shoes! Yay! But I'm broke! Boo!

So I trundled myself off to DSW yesterday after work. Sweet Fancy Moses, that place has an awful lot of awful people trolling the floors for deals. (Note to the 2 teenage girls by the flats: Leave some lipgloss for the rest of us, y'all!) There some marginally cute shoes, but the super cute shoes I liked didn't come in brown, so I'm back to square one. Boo!

Here's the question: Do I bully Mr Boots into taking a drive to the outlets in Riverhead for some cute shoes?

Or do any of you have a secret repository of cute shoes or cute-shoe-related information in Nassau? (I've already exhausted Nordstrom's, Macy's, Bloomie's, and every Payless in a 5 mile radius)

Love My Shoes , online or in store?

Riverhead was a letdown this weekend - I'd look in MJM and Love my Shoes first ----

try Macy's too - I think they're having a sale on Sat.?

I think there are outlets in Bellport which are probably closer to you...(translation = don't drive past my town if I'm not in the country )

Very cute! Not too slutty for work, but it does draw attention to the cankles...

MJM had these on the sale racks---

they're called Rudey, right???

THey were either $19.99 or $24.99, and the Commack store had them in every size

Shorty, yes they are! I couldn't find the brown at DSW.

And Nov04LIBride... yeah the whole mules/slides accentuate the cankles, but I can't find anything I like with an ankle-strap!

hey i am actually on a mission also to find some cute summer shoes.. i think im gonan head to marshalls though, after seeingthe commercial..i like almost every pair

Have you tried hiring soem elves to make them for you?
I hear they work pretty cheap if you amuse them with a monkey

I tried them on, but ended up w/ a flat casual shoe instead.

They DEFINITELY have them in Brown - I didn't see them in any other color though
