A Question for JT brides...

Did any of you inquire about extending the reception and how much extra it would be???

I think Denise is doing it. I might be mistaken. I just know her reception ends late.

CH is 6:30 to 8 and my reception is from 8 to 12:30

we negotiated a price....i think it came out to $1,200 for an hour - we are going to do an extra half hour and end at 1 - so it will be $600 extra.....

with 131 guests it would cost you about $525

see if you can get it for $3 per person, and it will cost $393

good luck

Just don't forget you'll have to pay your DJ overtime as well.

We got an extra half hour added to the reception. They added it as an 'extra' for us.

Re: A Question for JT brides...

i think they ripped us off when we did it b/c we didnt meet with Rob and we met with someone else and he was pushy and being a little bit of a jerk - i didnt want to deal with him anymore and when i told FH forget we'll come back to see Rob he took our contract and wrote all over it - which pissed me off even more....i guess he wanted to charge us as much as he could before we talked to Rob....i wasnt happy with the price - but we dont have to pay anyone else to stay extra - we know our DJ and drummer - so FH didnt care, he just wants to be able to get the time......

if its calculated pp we got ripped off b/c our minimum is 175 - so $1,200 comes out to $6.85 pp for an hour.....which is ALOT....

try to get it for LESS

i don't think it would be alot though...you can call now and ask and tell them you were thinking about it but not 100% sure...then if youre ok with the djs price you can call JT...i think it might be like $200 extra or so for the dj an extra hour

I think the few Dj's I spoke with were around $700 for the extra hour. That seems like a lot though, so maybe I am mistaken!!

good luck!
