A question for those who use photoshop

My Dh is buying me photoshop for my bday. I was researching them and there are a couple of different ones. Which one did you guys buy?

depends on what u want to do with it exactly. Some are for photos and others do more.
U should download the trials they offer and see which one fits what u want to do.

I use adobe photoshope CS. It takes a bit of practice to use...it's not the most user friendly. Don't know if that helps any??

I use elements. I think it is easier then CS and geared more toward photo editing. The full photo shop is more for graphics artists.

Do they have a trial? Do you have a link? I am really inept at this and think this may be easier if you say so...
