A question regarding invitations

how many weeks/months do you send out the invitations before the wedding ?
and
How many weeks before the wedding do you make the response date due by?

Hey - you're getting married on my birthday


Invites go out approx 8 weeks prior to the wedding and the RSVP is about 4 weeks prior - depends on when you need to give a head count to your caterer. I would send them earlier if it's a holiday weekend.

I think I sent my invites out around April 12 with a response date of May 14 for my June 19 wedding.
