A really silly question

A really silly question

Do children get placecards? Or is it assumed that they are sitting with their parents? I have cousins that are between 2 and 14, who I am inviting to the reception.

How about writing on the placecard:

'The X Family' instead of Mr. and Mrs X

I gave them placecards but I also had a completely different table for them... I had a children's table.

I think it would depend on where they are being seated. If they are seated with their parents then you can put the family name on the card, but if you are going to have a separate table for kids then I would have a separate card for each kid.

Thanks! -- what if I wanted to do votive placecards? Would it be okay if I made a more kid friendly version, maybe the same votive cup, filled with candy, rather than a flame?
