would it be possible to write the date of the post under the name in the column where is says posted by.......?

why would that be needed?? once you got to the post you will see who posted it. Maybe I am not understanding the request

Do you mean the date of the original post as opposed to the most recent reply? I'm confused too.

on the main page where the column is that says posted by---i would like it to say the date that the post was started because sometimes i open a post thinking it's a new one only to find out that i already read it! so i figured if we know the date it was posted- it might save us some time (so we don't have to open it, see that we already read it, and then go back)--so instead of me spending 3 hours on here it would cut down to 2 1/2 haha!--does this make better sense?

I always re-read them anyway...since new people post with opinions and pictures and stuff that I would not see and might be helpful to me if I just bypassed them.

i agree that it is a good idea - it would be cool if each post could say the date and time of the post and all the replies would say that too.
