I would say go to the jeweler to buff it out.
I can't see anything else working.

you would have to get it buffed out, i had a platinum ring and it gets scrached up so quickly so i constinly had to bring it to the jewlers, but i was also too hard on it.

ditto about the buffing.. however my jeweler said they don't totally come out... If this is true, my ring is doomed!

Let me know how it goes!

Needs to be buffed. Go to a jewler for it.

My ring is platinum as well, and there are a few scratches on it. But I'm not headed to the jeweler everytime I see a new scratch, thats just insane. Maybe twice a year I'll take it in to be buffed, otherwise I just take it there to be cleaned, and thats free of charge.

From what I understand, platinum scratches but it is actually the metal displacing to allow the scratch, not scratching off completely. You can have it buffed out by the jeweler.

ur best bet is getting buffed out by the jewler... But chances are if you wear it everyday it will get scuffed again. Platimun is a very soft metal and will bend and scratch easy... you just have to be cautious

That's what I was told when I went to get mine buffed. It is a thicker band that I was used to on that finger (I wore a promise ring there for about 5 years). You can't buff it too many times though since it wears at the band itself. I plan on waiting until right before the wedding to have it fully cleaned and buffed again!

That is why my jewelry guy told me not to get platnium because I type all day on a computer and he said it would scratch and bend waayy too much.. so I went with white gold. You are going to have to go and have them buff it out! I sorry hun!! I hope it works!
