A song for Friend

Okay Ladies

I have been lurking for awhile and I realized I still have a ton of questions that I cannot seem to find....so here I go...

I have a group of girlfriends who are in my wedding party from HS. We have been through it all and I really want to have a special song to get them to all come out and dance to. Anyone have any ideas?

I have already thought of These Are the Days by 10,000 maniacs...any other ideas?:

That idea is really sweet. How about 'That's What Friends Are for' or ' I Turn to you' by Christina Aquilera.

Great idea with the toy story idea!! I will definetly think of that!

I already thought of the Friends theme song.....however they think I am already a geek because I have Season 1-6 on DVD and watch it every night!!!

I also thought of Girls Just Want to Have Fun! by Cyndi Lauper but I am not sure.....I want it to be special for them and everyone plays that at weddings i go to for 'the girls'

Oh my god...you girls are so awesome...thank you for all your quick responses.....

I really like the Mariah Carey Song.....but the James Taylor Song too!!!!

Do you guys think its too slow? Thats what I am worried about. There are like 6 or 7 of them i want to come out there and I don't want it too be tooooo slow.....what do you think

Even if it could be a circle of girls dancing i am fine...as long as it is not to slow..

How about a song that means something to you and your friends together? Like a song that was popular during a paticularly fun summer, etc.

Hbradio - I love what you are suggesting....

However, those our going to be our big songs to be played at the wedding in generaly because whenever we go out we dance to them....

I want a song (not to slow) that when the DJ goes...girls this goes out from A to you guys for being the best friends (and you listen to the lyrics) will make my friends cry (in a good way).....danicing is one thing.....i just want to get them all out there and all dance together and understand what friendship is all about (though we all know it)....
