A spin on Stacey's Post - Great Kid Story

My priest told me this story - only amusing thing he ever said…

That there were these two really bad brothers - one was maybe 8 and the other was 5. Totally hyperactive. Troublemakers, mischief, beating other kids up, etc. So the mom in desperation went to the priest and said you HAVE to help me with these kids. I don’t' know what to do they are complete terrors and have no fear and no respect for anything.

So the priest called the older kid into the rectory after mass, and sat him down in front of his desk and crossed his hands and solemnly said- Michael. Do you know where Jesus is. And the kid just stared at him. So he leaned forward and said - Michael. DO you know where Jesus is. And of course the kid sat there just silent. Finally he unfolded his hands and placed them in the desk and said with solemn sincerity. I am trying to help you Michael - you can start by telling me where Jesus is and then we can begin.

Well the kid left after a half hour of saying nothing and the priest told the mother that Michael was completely unresponsive to help and he didn’t' know how to help her any further.

In the meantime, Michael raced up the stairs when he got home and closed the door to the bedroom where his little brother was waiting. The little brother said - Well?!?! What did he want? What did he say?!?! And Michael said in a hushed whisper.

'Listen it's not good. They lost Jesus and they think we've got him.'
