A tip for the 06'ers, from an 05'er...

When you are figuring out how much time to take off of work before the wedding, make sure to take into account time to clean your apartment/home. If you are getting ready in a hotel, luckily this doesn't apply to you.

My apt is by no means dirty, but wasn't 'picture ready'. Meaning there was clutter everywhere, and a lot of stuff hanging around that I don't want in my pics, like my hamper in the bedroom, office supplies scattered on the desk, my cats toys and scratch post- stuff like that.

I didn't think about it, and now i am running around like a madwoman, tidying up and stuffing things into the closet. I am getting married on Saturday- wish I had either done this earlier or gotten a cleaning lady to help me out!

My apartment is always picture ready (my fiance and I are both obsessive-compulsive neat-freaks) but I'm getting ready at my mother's house where it always looks like a tornado 'breezed' through. I'll have to take the day before (and before I get my nails done) to get her house picture ready!
