I normally don't post, but I need help. My FH and I have been together for 9 years. We have a 3 1/2 yr old daughter. We wanted our daughter to be included in our wedding ceremony. We are considering saying a little vow to our daughter after we say our vows to each other (or before, I haven’t quite figured it out yet.)
My question is 'what do we give her?' a necklace, a ring, a medallion or something else? I saw this done on the wedding Channel and loved the idea any suggestions?

What about some kind of locket...they can be really personal and pretty. Great for a your girl.

Re: A Vow to our daughter
I like the ring idea as well. Our Son is going to be our bestman. He's only going to be a 1-1/2. But our priest said it was fine. (My Fi brother will sign the cetificate as witness) I would like to do something special as well. If you come with anything please share.
rings seem to me...easier to lose...so I vote for the necklace...
you can say the same/similar vows you say to each other...

Re: A Vow to our daughter
A clauddaugh (did I spell this write?) ring or necklace is perfect. It means love, faith and loyality. The only thing with the ring is that she is so small the ring will not fit her when she is older, so maybe a necklace now, and a ring for her 13th birthday.
