Okay so my mom & I are starting to plan my engagement party for January.
I was thinking of doing a winter wonderland theme since it's January & it usually snows around then.
What are some suggestions you have. Such as decorations, FAVORS, colors, centerpieces, etccc.
Thank you in advance!

Re: A Winder Wonderland Engagement Party Ideas...
I went to a winter wonderland theme sweet 16 recently.. for a friend's daughter. She did colors of blues and silver. she had these silver snowflake holders for the seating cards, and the same as votives on the tables. She did centerpieces of white branches and hung snowflake ornaments on it. (you could also do icicles). I think the base of the vase had shredded silver mylar. The family dressed in blue colors. the favor was geared more toward a teen.. but perhaps you could hand out snowflake sugar cookies, or rock candy, or assorted white & silver candies or a pretty snowflake ornament.

Re: A Winder Wonderland Engagement Party Ideas...
we had a winter themed engagement party.
I designed the invites with snowflakes, and the phrasing:
The weather outside may be frightful I fear but there is a reason for us to cheer Bride and groom got engaged this past year please join us to celebrate with those we hold dear
our favors were mini packets of flavored cofee, the sets you can get at 5 continents, or individual packs at AC Moore wth chocolate hearts.
our centerpieces were iris and roses, bought at King kullen and online, in the vase. You can also do snowglobes, or blue and white christmas ornaments with silver or crystal confetti
hope this helps

I am doing snowflake coasters, they are $1.88 for set of 4 (I think $1.02 if I was only doing 2 of them) - there should be a picture in my album
