a word about the inn a fox hollow - confirm confirm confirm

Topic: **the inn at fox hollow**warning
From: qiharmony Date: 7/22/2002 at 7:01 pm

the inn at fox hollow is beautiful. thats it. i blocked my room (wedding suite) and guests in 4 months before the wedding. called 2 months before wedding to confirm it everything was ok. then just out of a hunch i called 2 weeks before wedding and they had NO record of it. i then got in touch with our sales rep and it was supposed to be fixed even though the wedding suite was booked she managed to bump them (poor them) and put me and hubbie in. then the day i went to check in there was no such accomodation for the suite even though i had a confirmation that did. they also overbooked the hotel 102% so if out of town guests were late in checking in they were out of luck. their air conditioning was not workin and my future mother in law had to have her room changed at 3:00 in the am. then the air was not working and she and husband were moved 2 more times. also, the toilet overflowed in one of the bathrooms. it was confusion stress and embarrassing for my guests and me. the beautiful environment does not make up for the poor management and facility problems. if you do use it though confirm, confirm , confirm. it would have been a mess if i had showed up to check in and all my guests had a room and not me. and i reserved it the earliest. they need some major renovation! also if you get all the suites have a kitchenette with full fridge. great but the fridge was very loud and kept going on and off all night. hard to get a good nights sleep when you need it most. even in the bridal suite that have doors that close off the area is still audible

Barbara,

Did you sign a contract with them or have anything regarding your reservations in writing? I had to sign something in order to block rooms & book our bridal suite with them, I'm going to call them anyway to confirm but I just wanted to make sure.
