a 'yay!' and a 'boo :-('

So, today has good news and bad news.

Good news:
Our engagement party invites are ready to go out! I did our half of the list yesterday, because FH's mom hadn't gotten us her list yet, but she did today, so now those are all labeled and ready to mail tomorrow! And there are a few people I'm handing invitations to in person, and I gave out the first of those today to a guy I work with, and he was so sweet about it - he seemed really genuinely honored to be invited.

I'm so excited

Bad news:

I ordered a t-shirt to wear for the engagement party that reads 'Jeff's Bride' from customizedgirl.com. I was away for the weekend, and according to both the tracking info and my mother (I live with my parents) the shirt arrived while I was away... and now it's missing! My mom definitely remembers recieving it, but it's gone! I've torn my room apart looking for it, because she thinks she put it in here, but it's nowhere to be found. It's not anywhere downstairs either. I'm starting to get really worried that since it comes in a sort of flexible plastic envelope and isn't too big, somebody maybe mistook it for trash and threw it out. I'm starting to get really irritated that I can't find it!

Glad to hear that invites are going well....Keep looking for the shirt...it'll turn up in a place that you looked in atleast a dozen times..... Irony is evil!!
