a year after the wedding to give a gift

has anyone ever heard of this???

yeah... you have a year to give a gift... i dont think that happens very often... but sometimes it does

oddly enough i heard it on opie and anothony! lol
DH listens to it all the time, so im usually listening too..Anthony was talking about how he didnt give opie a wedding gift yet, but he had a year to do it, so yeah! lol

I hate this rule....but I am hoping that's the case with the 23 (!) people that didn't give us a card or gift

WOW! Im sorry! I thought my 4 cousins were crazy... I guess they know what they are talking about.


I would forget to give a gift if I didnt give it right away... whats the point in waiting??

I agree. Did you confirm to make sure cards didn't get misplaced or stolen on your day?

I know that a couple of people mentioned to my mom or sister that they forgot their card...but I feel awkward asking anyone because a lot of those who did not give us a card/gift traveled for the wedding and everyone stayed in the hotel.

One of them was my boss...!!
