OMG, I went over on my cell phone minutes by 300 last month I owe them 104 dollars more! What's wrong with me?????????????????????????????????

Rachel - you and FH should look into getting the phones with family plans that give you unlimited minutes between family members.

We have T-Mobile and our calls to each other are unlimited. It was a lifesaver when he was still in Boston and I'd started my job here in LI. We could be on the phone for an hour each night and it didn't cost any extra.

I have been doing that a lot lately :( - i need to stop - My usualy bil is $52 - the last three months i have paid $126, $262, and $356 -

Sadly enough, it's not even JT that I've been talking to! I have free long distance at home that I use to talk to him on. I use my cell phone for my business during the afternoons, and I swear, that can't possibly be 100 dollars worth of talking. I get a ridiculous amount if minutes a month as it is! Hmmm, now I am thinking it may be a mistake. I have never gone over like that before. Hmmmmmmmmm....................

I know I FINALLY got my first paycheck today (UGH! We only get paid once a month ) And after paying every last cent of bills and catching up on past due stuff from when I was unemployed, I only have like 600 bucks for the rest of the month, and that's BEFORE I put any away for the wedding But I have to remind myself it was a HUGE catch up month, and that next month's paycheck will ALL go to savings. I have to breathe, I think I'm going to hyperventilate........

oh I hate when that happens. What plan do you have??? I have AT&T. I have 500 anytime minutes, free nights, free weekends, free long distance, and free roaming. All for $17.99 a month. Oh and a free phone. I got an awesome deal last winter...but I cannot wait till it is up in December. I need free Mobile to Mobile minutes and a new free cell phone....I feel so outdated lol.

Change plans or consider a joint plan with FH. Scott and I have a sprint plan that we get free calls to each other's phone, but we do have our own numbers.

Swags when your phone plan is up, look around for a special. If you find a really good special....Look around for a reputable store and see if they will honor the special. Stay away from CELL TECH. They will rip you off. Very shady store.

I deal with Beep America, on Broadway in Lynbrook. My mother is friends with the owner, Jack. Excellent store and they accept all their competitors coupons. He originally had the package deal for $19.99 and a free phone, but I brought in the coupon and got it for $17.99 with the free nokia 1260. It is a nokia no frills phone. It works good, but it has some little quirks about it.

Usually around christmas the service providers offer specials on their phones and services. What I have to do with mine is, I get a bill in the mail, and then I get a check for $17.00. So with tax and all the extras my bill is usually around $30. AT&T taxes are around $8-$9 each month, plus $.10 for each text message....They add up. But I still get excellent service, and plenty of minutes for a good price.

As for AT&T I only have one problem with their service and that is that I cannot use it in Bellmore....near Danielles house. Maybe AT&T dont have apole up in that area, I do not know. Other than that I get great service everywhere else. At&t has improved in the past year or so. I had them for two years a few years ago and the service was horrible. I then switched to Sprint and it was worse. I then came back to AT&T. I think I will stick with AT&T....if not I will get Verizon.

Hehehehe... not ot laugh at your situation, but I clicked on your post and a popup came flying up for a cell phone... Wow.. that was wierd!

Can you see if they have a more accomadating plan?
