AARRGGHH!!!! -Vent

Fiance is driving me nuts today. While we have been doing most of the planning together. I have done most of the organizational stuff. Made the budget, made the checklist. I set up most of our appts and I communicate with our vendors.

Especially because up until this point he has been very busy at work it just made sense. Not one decision has been made without his input and approval.

So now all of a sudden he feels like he's on the outside, needs to sit down and look at the list and make a plan. There is a plan, the list is progressing and if he gets pissy about it one more time I am handing it all over to him.

The wedding doesn't plan itself, I've kept the process moving on a well planned schedule and as a result I get a chronically cranky fiance who wants to take over but can't do anything without asking 100 questions.

I guess I could just be glad he wants to be a part of the planning but right now I want kick him.

I feel your pain. I thought FH wouldn't be so involved but he is. So what I do is keep a list of to do's.

I have 5 months to go and have broken it out by month and then have subcategories for things to check off. I email him the list once a week so that he is 'informed' and when he wants to participate he'll say, hey, let's sit and talk about this, let's go over the budget here, etc ... and I don't mind because at least I know he is always informed.

Hmmm...interesting....you've planned everything with his input and now he wants to look over everything...do I have that correct? I've been doing all the organizational stuff because FH would rather it that way. I get annoyed sometimes when he says 'Whatever you want' I feel as though he just says that to make me get what I want but it can be annoying when you want input because it's HIS wedding too.

I just realized that I was trying to help you and I started my own VENT....sorry
