? About Black and White Wedding Photos

Does anyone know if photographers charge extra for each photo that they put in your album that is black and white?

I met with Patken yesterday and I obviously know that they do black and white photos but I didn't think to ask them if this is extra.

Also, who normally determines which photos should be in color and which should be black and white? Obviously this is the photographer's expertise so is it something you normally decide on while consulting the photographer??

Everything is shot in color so you have the decision afterwards if u want it printed in color, b&w, and sepia.

all photographers make it sound like it's a big favor they are doing for you by including it in the packages. They shouldn't charge you anything extra for it.

even the photo programs that come installed in computers usually have a button that you can just click to turn it from color to B&W or sepia..

it's too easy to do to justify an extra charge... but who knows
