?? about Bridal Shower

Does anyone know about their showers yet?

In my house, its been brought up as conversation...but we have ONE prob.
I have 3 BM under the age of 18, One in N.C. doin her doctorate, one in college and one pregnant....
I feel like no one is going to be able to pay, to throw one......:( Im a little bummed!! :(

I've talked to my mom and my MOH about my shower. As an OOT bride, it would be difficult for them to surprise me. I'm in VA, FH's family is in CT, my family is mostly on LI, but I have a BM in Africa!

My mom is going to work with my MOH to plan, but I told them I don't want anything extravagent.

Its going to work the same way for my MOH's wedding (where I am the MOH).

My MOH asked me to give her a list of people I want invited asap...that way it will be a surprise when it happens. The thing is, most of my family (the people that I am closest to) are in South Carolina, and I don't think they will be coming up here before the wedding. I am going to plant the idea in my sister's head that I should have two showers...I really want to have my mom at one of them.

I'm pretty sure my mom is going to be handling it since my sister (MOH) will be away in college. All of my bridesmaids are in their 20's and have jobs, but my mom doesnt expect them to contribute. She thinks they are spending enough money with everything else...

I have spoken to my mom about my bridal shower...I told her that I wanted it in the fall but my SIL is due October 3rd & she is out of state, so that might be a problem...Also I have told her that I want it at home & not in a restaurant....So unfortunately, I have no clue when they are going to plan it...One thing I do know, my MOH (kiddo115) will do a GREAT job keeping it a secret!!!
